Pixster Announces Phoenix Photo Booth Expansion
Pixster has had their sights set on the Phoenix market since their inception in 2013 so the company’s announcement today of a Phoenix office opening comes as no surprise. The company already offers photo booth rentals in the Phoenix and Scottsdale area via their travel teams. Up to now, rentals taking place in Arizona have incurred Hefty $1,000+ travel fees. With the opening of the new location, customers will no longer need to pay a travel fee.
Pixster’s aggressive expansion in early 2017 included increasing capacity in their LA location by 50%, and the company has no signs of slowing. Recently recognized as one of the 100 fastest growing companies in San Diego, Pixster has become a well-known brand in Southern California and Central Arizona. They serviced an estimated 2700 events in 2016 and are projecting 4000 rentals in 2017, making them the largest non-franchised photo booth company West of the Mississippi. To date, the company has had over 600,000 users and has more than 1.5 million photo views per month. CEO McLain Harvey says, “The growth of Pixster has been an organic process. Launching their 180 degree GIF photo booth this year was a big technological advance for the company. However, the most popular photo booth offered is Pixster’s signature open-air photo booth. The open-air photo booth is a unique take on a classic and allows clients to customize their rental experience. From customizing the backdrops to being able to share photos via email and social media, this style booth has something for everybody. Pixster attributes much of their success to a focus on providing the highest quality open air photo booth experience to their customers. Boasting more than 100 five-star reviews on their Yelp page, the company has truly set themselves apart from other photo booth rental companies. Of course, this style photo booth will be available to rent at the new Phoenix location.
Although the company has not chosen their final location yet, they will most likely open doors in the Tempe area. According to McLain, “Tempe is the most logical choice. It is central, affordable, and allows us to offer rentals for the majority of the Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa area without having to charge additional fees.” The tentative date for opening is Q4 of their fiscal year (December-February).

We will begin taking reservations July 1st for events taking place next year or later. Pixster will also begin hiring local staff in the near future, so stay tuned.
